A seasoned financial executive who has consistently placed strong emphasis throughout his career on building and maintaining a constructive corporate culture. He believes that stable, collaboration‑based organizational operations form the foundation of long‑term success and innovation. As a leader, he has contributed to ensuring that the organizations he led supported the development of the Hungarian financial market in a reliable, secure manner, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
Between 2014 and 2025, he served as Chief Executive Officer of GIRO Zrt., where he was responsible for the company’s strategic management, its continuous and secure operation, and the development of new payment services. Under his leadership, an organization of approximately 200 employees operated successfully. He is credited with one of the most significant innovations in Hungary’s financial infrastructure: the introduction of the Instant Payment System, which fundamentally transformed domestic payment services.
Previously, he worked as Director of the Banking Operations Directorate at the National Bank of Hungary (Magyar Nemzeti Bank), where he was responsible for operating the VIBER system and for the back‑office functions of the central bank’s financial operations. Prior to this, he spent more than a decade in professional roles at the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry for National Economy.
He holds qualifications in law and economics. He earned his law degree from Pázmány Péter Catholic University, subsequently passed the bar examination, and obtained a lawyer‑economist qualification from the University of West Hungary.
He is the father of four children.
