Electronic Payment Service Providers Association (EFISZ) participated in the opening ceremony of the Fintelligence Financial Education Centre in Budapest

Faculty of Finance and Accountancy of Budapest Business School, Fintelligence Financial Literacy Centre and UniCredit Bank Plc. invited EFISZ to the opening ceremony of the Fintelligence Financial Education Network’s first location in the capital and to the following roundtable session.

The official opening ceremony of the education centre took place on 8 April 2019, and, among others, Minister of Finance, Mihály Varga gave an opening speech as well. Mihály Veres, President of EFISZ was invited to take part in the panel discussion with the title “Cash Flow Innovations in the Service of Financial Literacy”.

The breakout session covered several current topics; for example, the emergence of widely introduced, digitally available services that encourage the spread of electronic payment on global and domestic levels, the rise of domestic payment services that shape both the near and the distant future, instant payments, and last but not least, the relationship between digitalisation and financial literacy and the domestic initiatives promoting financial awareness.
